Cove runs on a long-established community of volunteers. The Butterfly Garden group meets Sunday mornings from May through September, alongside guided walks and work behind the scenes.

Membership and giving

Annual membership fees help organize volunteers and maintain the sanctuary. Cove Island Wildlife Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and donations are tax-deductible.
